Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Poor, to non-existent management. Current management will manage the bare-minimum and completely cutoff the establishment when they have vacation days. When management gets upset about an employee, they will not hesitate to talk BS about that person to everyone, including new hires. Management will attempt to train new hires as very little as possible and pawn off that task, and any other tasks onto the rest of the staff. Management will not hesitate to overwork you while they have a normal set schedule, then proceed to complain about their own schedule if you mention and complaints of your own."

Front Desk Associate/Housekeeping (Former Employee) says"I can only say Thank you for the experience I gained outside of my normal skills..I learned mostly by figuring things out by reading manuals or calling tech support but I would not recommend that particular Microtel for anyone to work for. The upper management have no respect they often pick at staff and customers and the housekeepers snoop and steel. pay is to low for what they expect once you start. They are looking for desperate people to use for fill in when the managers don't want to be there,and front desk staff gets no break , you sit there 8 hours sometimes more without a break.they did their best not ever refund the customers for valid complaints while they stayed and always try to charge guest for smoking after they chechout instead of charge a deposit at check in .. and most of the time the findings were not proof enough...Its a p lace where nothing matters to the Boss but the money 💰 Meeting different peolle from all over the Country aas the highlightKnowing that when a customers complaint was falling on def ears of the owner/management"

Front Desk Receptionist (Current Employee) says"I was initially hired to work the front desk. However, I ended up having to do laundry along with working 3-11 every weekend. As time went on the owne also wanted me to inspect the rooms after housekeeping was done cleaning the rooms. Also there isnt a maintenance man so if things weren't working I had to fix it."

Guest Service Agent (Former Employee) says"The GM sleeps with guests and is terrible at being a boss. They will make you feel included but then seclude you at the drop of a dime. I had gotten blamed for things that upper management said that I did not even do. I was made to feel badly for calling off due to being in the hospital. Do not work here."
Housekeeping (Former Employee) says"Not a place you will be at very long so don’t bother applying it’s really not worth it. Since they have been their business has dropped dramatically they only give their employees a 50 cent raise every year but want to work people way beyond their means but don’t want to pay them more for all the extra work they have on top of work they already have to do. There are maybe 5 employees last time I stopped in cheap people can’t even hire more help I seen a housekeeper doing front desk work"

Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee) says"He was always telling me and other co-workers to relay messages back and forth that should have been handled by management. He rounds your pay also. So even if you work 83 hours in a pay period you can and will only be paid for the 80 hours you're scheduled. It's a janky establishment"
